Who we are?
We are a non-political style organization and the National Governing Body for Budo Karate in the United States.
* Member of World Budo Karate Association.
Why US Budo Karate?
We founded World Budo Karate Association with Sensei Nishiyama’s passionate students from all over the world in order to preserve and develop karate based on Budo principles, according to the teachings of Master Nishiyama.
We believe that by working together, we can further progress budo karate in 2 ways:
*Maintaining high standards of technique and continue to improve the level of our instructors, and the understanding of Budo karate principles.
*Promoting Budo karate, and making the knowledge widely available and easily accessible for future generations.
US budo karate is not limited to Sensei Nishiyama students or any individual karate style. Because the principles of Budo Karate are universal, they apply to any karate style and even sport; therefore we are open to accepting members from any system that are interested in Budo Karate.
How we develop and promote Budo Karate?
We develop Budo Karate and promote it globally by adhering to the highest standards of instructors and teaching, leveraging live seminars, online videos, written materials, and international & national competitions.
We centralize rank examinations and provide instructor certifications.
We believe that understanding the theories of Budo karate will make training more deliberate and effective.
We are created out of Passion and Love to Karate.
Our purpose is to develop and transmit karate with irs depth and limitless potentials to the next generations.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of USA Budo Karate association is to provide a platform for the preservation and development of Budo Karate, based on the principles taught
by Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama.
Hidetaka Nishiyama left behind a profound Karate legacy. His ability to combine traditional teachings with a modern understanding exercise science and psychology, lead to the development of a systematic and comprehensive set of training principles, which he personally felt were his greatest work.
Today, these masterful principles have ensured that Shotokan Karate will continue to grow, develop, and flourish, while still maintaining it’s deep roots, strong traditions, and time-tested techniques.

Everyone who is interested in studying and developing Budo Karate,
including students of any style, Traditional or Sport, is welcome to Join us.
We offer no politics, only Knowledge, positive energy and friendship.
